This landscape window shows the movement of Ammerland on Geestrand. The hamlet Hankhausen is located on the Oldenburg-East Frisian Geestrücken, an ice age-pronounced morphological site structure. This Geestrücken forms the watershed within the Ammerland Parklandschaft towards Ems or towards the Weser. From the landscape tower one looks towards the Wesermarsch and the difference in altitude of the landscape transition from the Ammerländer Geest to the Weser March of up to 20 meters can be experienced in an impressive way.
